The Europe Center project preserves the living transmission of Diamond Way Buddhism and is the international meeting point for all Diamond Way groups worldwide. Meditation courses, meetings and many other means of communication happen at the site. H.H. 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje is the spiritual head of the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism and the Patron of the Diamond Way Buddhist Centers founded and directed by Lama Ole Nydahl.

Lama Ole Nydahl
 
Lama Ole Nydahl is the best known buddhist teacher in the western world. He and his wife Hannah were the first western students who where sent by the late 16th Gyalwa Karmapa to teach Buddhism in the western world. In his name Lama Ole Nydahl founded more than 600 Diamond Way Centers for lay practitioners.
